Refund Policy

1. Overview
MusicAuto, operated by Solvantis LLC, offers two paid products: credit packs (one-time purchases of generation credits) and subscription plans (recurring access tiers). This policy explains when refunds are available, when they aren't, and how to request one.
We aim to be fair. AI generation involves real, non-recoverable third-party compute costs (Replicate, Gemini, fal.ai, etc.), so the refund rules below are designed to protect customers from genuine billing mistakes while preventing abuse.
2. Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)
Refundable within 14 days — if unused
You may request a full refund on a credit pack within 14 days of purchase, provided no credits from that purchase have been spent. We define "spent" as any successful AI generation or publish job that consumed credits.
Partial use — prorated refund
Within the same 14-day window, if you have used some but not all credits, you may request a refund of the unused balance, computed at the original per-credit price you paid. Used credits are non-refundable because the underlying compute was already paid out.
After 14 days
Credit packs are non-refundable after 14 days. Credits do not expire, so any remaining balance stays in your account.
3. Subscription Plans
Cancel anytime
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then and will not be charged again.
First-time subscriber — 7-day satisfaction guarantee
First-time subscribers may request a full refund of their first billing period within 7 days of the initial charge, regardless of usage. This guarantee applies once per customer and is not available on subsequent billing periods or after switching plans.
Mid-period refunds
Outside the first-time guarantee, we do not prorate refunds for the current billing period. If the Service is unavailable for an extended period due to our infrastructure failure, contact us — we will consider service credits or partial refunds case-by-case.
4. Failed Generations (Automatic)
If an AI generation, publish, or rendering job fails due to a system error on our side or an upstream provider, the credits consumed by that job are automatically refunded to your balance. You do not need to contact us — the refund happens server-side as the job exits in a failed state.
If you believe credits were not refunded for a failed job, include the job ID in your support request and we will investigate and correct it.
5. What Is Not Refundable
- Credits consumed by successful generations, publishes, or renders
- Credit packs more than 14 days after purchase
- Subscription periods that have completed, outside the first-time guarantee
- Charges resulting from account misuse (Terms of Service violations, sharing access, evading rate limits) — these may also incur account suspension
- Third-party platform issues (e.g., your YouTube/TikTok account is rate-limited by the platform itself) — we surface the error but cannot refund our compute cost
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@solvantisinc.com from the email address associated with your MusicAuto account, including:
- The purchase you want refunded (date + invoice ID, if known)
- The reason for your refund request
- If applicable, the job ID of a failed generation
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically settle within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, we strongly prefer that you contact us first — we can usually resolve billing issues within one business day. Initiating a chargeback before contacting support delays resolution and, in cases of clear misuse, may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.
Confirmed chargebacks where the underlying service was delivered as described and used by the customer will be contested with documentation provided to your card issuer.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply only to purchases made after the updated effective date. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or email to active subscribers.
